General Eligibility Requirements:

Counseling is available for all children served by our foster care programs. In order to benefit from counseling services, the child must be both age and developmentally appropriate.  Treatment goals should indicate that supportive, intensive, individual, and/or group or family counseling would be a method that would help them reach their behavioral health and/or permanency goals.  They must meet Medicaid eligibility goals to start and continue their counseling services with Try-Again Homes.

Program Goals:

To help children maintain and or improve  their family placement stability, their current level of functioning in home and school settings and to present these services in a manner and format that is best suited to the child’s individual treatment goals, and developmental stage.
